In 2009, YACHT released The Secret Teachings of the Mystery Lights: A Handbook on Overcoming Humanity and Becoming Your Own God, their first book. It was described as the text version of the philosophical ideas set forth in the album, See Mystery Lights. For years, the physical book was only available person-to-person at YACHT shows, so that YACHT could monitor each purchase. Now the book is available as a FREE EBook for the iPad & iPhone; the original text has been supplemented by two out-of-print YACHT pamphlets, the Official Tattoo Policy and “On Mantra.” It also includes the entire Catalogue of Influences, which was originally released as a large-scale poster grid of images.
